Handmade: Holiday Bazaar

♡ Encouraging all to support and buy handmade. ♡

The annual Senior Holiday Bazaar is always such a delight; as with any
local craft show, the ideal location to support handmade holiday gifts.

To share a few of my own purchases, starting with the most mesmerizing, the art of Don Dorsa. His water colors are so vivid, bright, and ever so captivating. With delight, my mom and I had the pleasure to converse with the talented Dorsa.

Isn't this beautiful oval framed floral painting so exquisite? I fancied it so and, at once, bought it for my mom. She, in return, gifted me this very fawn below.

Once again, the presence of the H. F. Craft Group allows me the opportunity to support the Heritage Farmstead Museum. That is, all of their crafts are provided by handmade donations to which all the proceed go to benefit the farm.

This pink and fluffy bunny was also gifted to me from my mom. Currently, I am at a loss to name her; any name suggestions would be appreciated. ;] Of course, these two little piggy ornaments are for my sister to enable her pig obsession.

Well, there is so much more that I could share. It really was so fun to see, most of all, Senior citizens who continue to craft and make with their own two hands. It goes to show that there is no age limit to DIY. And most importantly, remember to support handmade items too!
