    ♡ Happy Valentine's!!  ♡

Confession of my heart obsessions: I present my lovely collection heart shaped sunnies.
I've managed to add dazzling embellishments for a personalized feel. Of course, it began with mending my first pair. From then on, I've continued to further expand my assortment of sweethearts. They look better now than before.

Not to mention this DIY is quite effortless. All you need is an adhesive (e.g. e6000/ hot glue/ mod podge/ etc.), embelishments (e.g. cabachons/ gems/ glitter/ jewels/ pearls/ pom-poms/ etc.) and most importantly, some creativity!

For the first pair shown, upper left-hand corner, I added gems to the top rim. The pink pair was originally black/white checkered, but I preferred a solid color instead; to which, I used pink acrylic to pain and glue a few gems to the outer corners. Followed by my first pair and last, my latest pair of sweethearts.

Which pair is your favorite? Mine's the newest pair, or the "blank slate", since it still has embellishment potential! Most certainly, allows me the opportunity to get creative. May you all be inspired. And again, happy Valentine's day.

    1. the hardest part for me is finding a glue that works. I find gluing anything to metal a real challenge :(

      1. In order for any adhesive to properly bond, curing is crucial. Also, thoroughly read and follow the instructions for adequate results.
Many fellow crafters confide in E-6000, although I've yet to use this particular type of glue. Personally, I've found Gorilla Glue to work multipurpose wonders; especially when it comes to metal. :]
