Last month I was pinched for time in search for swimwear and was resourceful enough to make my very own swimsuit. The main source of my inspiration stemmed from a lovely Topshop one-piece swimsuit. Essentially, I drafted my own pattern and used vinyl coated spandex, stretch velvet and lining fabric. ♡
OMG DULCE!! THIS IS AMAZING!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cara!! I'm amazed and impressed by the fact that I managed to pull it off :))
DeleteFun fact: The house my parents own used to have a pool but the previous owners filled it in, which was awful bc I could have grown up in a house with a pool.

So beautiful! The fabric you used gives it that perfect mermaid feel.<333 I'm still trying to get the hang of making patterns, I'm not very good at it. ;(

Actually, I was hesitant on the making the top part yet was fortunate enough to find a tutorial on how to make your own pattern. So I'm still learning myself! In general drafting feels intuitive since I love learning how things are constructed and put together. Thanks, Adi :)
