DIY: Body Butter

Throwback to our How To: Body Butter post; check it out, first, for a step-by-step tutorial.
Personally, I rely solely on my homemade body butter and use of natural oils to moisturize instead of store-bought body/face lotions. Since I was running low, I decided to whip some more up last night. 

Ingredients:
  • Argan Oil: Antioxidant carrier oil rich amino acids, vitamin A and E (c/o ActuallyOrganic)
  • Beeswax: Solidifying agent that aids carrier oils to emulsify *Not vegan!*
  • Essential Oil: Aroma agent that is naturally plant based 
  • Coconut Oil: Antioxidant carrier oil rich in natural saturated fats
  • Lanolin: Emollient aids as a humectant *Not vegan!*
  • Lecithin: Viscous emollient when used topically *Vegan only if (soy) plant-based!*
  • Olive Oil: Antioxidant carrier oil rich in monounsaturated fatty acids
  • Vegetable Glycerin: Natural humectant that seals in moisture
  • Vitamin E Oil: Antioxidant carrier oil known for its anti-aging property
