This is not a recent DIY, technically dating back to 2015, but I thought it would be a good time as any to go ahead and share it now! So remember, way back, when Jazmin made me a pair of cute fuzzy faux fur mittens? Well, she gave me the fabric scraps she had left over and it took me long enough to find a way to finally purpose it.
Initially I had covered my desktop with a white and rose drawer lining decal along with pink organza. (Take a glimpse of before, circa 2014: Viva La DIY Workspace :: Part I ) I measured the perimeter of the desktop as I did when I first placed the decal but, this time I cutout strips of fabric and hot glued it on top of the lining. Then I cutout a piece big enough to cover the screen and added ribbon embellishments that allow me to tie it in place.
Note: Since this is a touchscreen, I do keep the fur brushed, outward, away from the screen. With that in mind, I have not had any problems and very much love using it to this day. ٩(◕‿◕)۶
