  • DIY: Iridescent Fairy Wings

    Fairies, sprites, and pixies! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°
Last minute look I made in Spring for Scarborough Fair that's quick and easy to recreate:

    1. Create the wings with wire. (I upcycled an old, torn-up pair.)

    2. Cut iridescent organza then hot-glue to the frame of each wing.

    3. Clean up the outline by cutting off excess material.

    4. Cover a rectangular scrap of wood for the backplate with fabric.

    5. Center the wings to the backplate and hot glue in place.

    6. Create the straps with elastic/felt and hot glue to the backplate.

    7. Ta-da, magical pair of fairy wings are all set!
